Merchandise return cards are issued in place of a cash refund
or traditional credit certificate. If the customer already has
an electronic gift card, the refund can be added to
the balance but can be tracked separately.
Opticard gift cards can be
purchased online via our secure online application. Customers
can choose the card design, select a value denomination
and include a personal message. The gift card is then sent
electronically via email to the recipient.
E-gift cards can be redeemed on your web site, in-store
or via the telephone.
Promotional cards can be used as an added incentive to drive
customers to your retail location for special events such
as a store opening or a product launch. You set the
parameters - discount amount, merchandise/purchase
requirements, expiration date.
Opticard
tracks these programs separately to allow for easy monitoring
and evaluation.
Opticard
supports gift cards that are purchased in a
store but then are redeemed exclusively in an online
environment. This provides a way for online merchants
to market their goods and services at points of retail
distribution. A personalized PIN can be entered at the
point of sale which provides additional security and
protection.
